About Us

Australian Prostate Cancer Research (APCR) is a national research organisation that partners with leading institutions to develop, fund and deliver national research programs. APCR is committed and driven to discover the killer cause in prostate cancer, improve patient outcomes and educate people on all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and patient care, thereby empowering men and their families.

APCR addresses what some cancer streams already have; a national, collaborative research organisation that conducts and delivers national research programs across all areas of prostate cancer, right across Australia.

Australian Prostate Cancer Research (APCR) carries full tax exemption, charitable status and has an independent Board of Directors to ensure transparency and accountability. Furthermore, it will also convene an independent, international research excellence committee to evaluate and govern all research investment and direction.

Alongside industry leaders, APCR will support centres of excellence in prostate cancer research throughout Australia to ensure research is sustained, integrated and collaborative.
